VICELAND IDENT

The project

Havaianas is known as the brand of summer. And they embrace this in almost all of their commercials showing aways a celebrity on the beach, reenforcing the idea of summer, and everything that Brazil is known for worldwide.

But in São Paulo we don't have beaches, and it's not summer all year long. So our Brand Action will propose an alternative use of Havaianas during winter, accepting a secret trend that already exist and everyone knows: wearing havaianas with socks.

The Concept

Final Storyboard

The vídeo presented is not the ideal final outcome. After producing the vídeo I revisited the concept of the animation, and created a new story for the ident, with a better flow, and a stronger connection to the Viceland audience. There wouldn't be enough time to finish the new animation in time to the hand in date, that's why I'm presenting the storyboard for what the Ident would be:
